Since 1972 the Gibson family of Elmira has kept every corner of the store at 472 w. 2nd st. Elmira n.y. filled with odds and ends. the selection of
merchandise has changed over the years. rolling with the advances and changing trends.  formerly a grocery store it was opened in 1972 by Bill & Dian Gibson. who turned it into an antique store. furnished with antiques from bill's parents attic. in 1985 they asked their daughter Leigh to take over full time. and soon their other daughter Denise joined the family business. since then grannys has evolved into a unique shopping experience. we have built a solid reputation as Elmira's most trusted business. we are committed to providing quality service to the community. we believe that a reputation as an honest and reliable business is the recipe for success.  grannys believes that a good reputation and consistent service will keep them here for the long run.
